This report is about how we visually perceive Mars as an entire planetary body. The initiating inspiration for this type of reporting comes from Bryan a long time viewer in Australia. More specifically how this general perception is also intentionally manipulated and redirected by false artificial visual enhancements and/or modifications over time to promote the perception of a planetary super dry arid geological theme. The above first report image of Mars as a orange/red color world is a sample and a typical example of this. It and others like it are the coloration that we see often in official media releases.
Most of us during our lives have heard and read many times that Mars is referred to as the red planet. This likely started before man had telescopes and searched for Mars in the night sky with the unassisted eye and it even found its way into our literature. It helped if one looked for a bright spot in the sky on a clear dark night that had a slightly earthy color and sometimes but not always with an ever so slightly rusty tint. However, much of that occasional rust color tint had more to do with viewing the planet through Earth’s atmosphere than with the planet Mar’s truth color. Still that is often how the planet is visually perceived.
When telescopes came along, it turned out that Mars actually has a more earthy tan color most often with white, greenish, and bluish haze highlights partially obscuring it. None the less, it is easier to sell Mars as a dry barren waste empty of life if it continues to be perceived as the “red” planet with little visual evidence of an atmosphere. When it comes to geology and its perception, reddish hues are most often associated by Earth humans with hot dry desert geologies such as the Australian mid and western outback and many other similar arid desert places on Earth.
With this psychology in mind, note again the above global image of Mars here in this report. As you can see it is mostly a strong orange/red color demonstrating very little atmospheric haze. Officially this particular image is suppose to have been taken via the Hubble Space Telescope by JPL on 3/10/1997 not too long after Hubble was refurbished. It was taken very near Mars Opposition when the planet came closest to the Earth and this image is touted as one of the sharpest ever taken. Remember to that, since the Hubble telescope is in space orbit, images taken by it cannot be affected or distorted by Earth’s atmosphere. So the implication is that this is a true color image of Mars.
Now most of us are familiar with the many beautiful Hubble color shots of objects in deep space and these remind us that color rendition is one of Hubble’s specialties. Further, this particular 1997 Hubble view of Mars is officially touted to have been derived from 9 different color filters spanning the ultraviolet to the near infrared spectrums.
However, does it really represent the true color that the human naked eye might see from space? My answer is that I seriously doubt it. I suspect this image and so many others like it are artificial constructs rather than the real thing. If so, it is therefore visually induced psychological manipulation reinforcing the official psychological perception theme that Mars is a barren super dry place devoid of life.
After all, if you are going to show closer manipulated images of the Mars barren waste terrain such as from cameras on landers and rover missions as orange to reddish tones, the global views of the planet also need to match and reinforce the perception. In other words, it gets behind the old naked eye perception psychology that has existed for centuries and goes it one better. Now lets take a look at another Hubble product below.
In the above second image take a look at the series of Mars global images near Opposition from 1995 through to 2005. As you can see, the orange/red coloration is much more subdued in these images in favor of a bit more tan earthy color. This especially apparent in the top left 1995 globe above in this 2nd image as compared to its source image in the first image further above. I suspect that is no doubt because these series images are official news releases meant to go down through posterity and we can’t have them too far off of the Mars true appearance now can we.
In any case, note that, except for the 1995 and 2001 globes, all the others in this series tend to minimize any perception of Mars having much of an atmosphere. Even the two in 1995 and 2001 tend to minimize the atmosphere. Note that all of these images in varying degrees carry the primary messages into the viewers head that Mars is primarily a place of geological terrain concerns with atmospheric perception being only incidental and minor considerations, if considered at all.
In other words, while such news release images for public consumption are not to be considered definitive in of themselves, they pave the way for the manipulated direction of thought creating a modified anticipation of what is to come. Then closer manipulated imaging of the terrain such as with lander and rover images will fill in the blanks that we now “expect” to be exposed to. The truth is that the real Mars global view is one with the planet having a fairly significant atmospheric haze partly obscuring the planet’s surface from view. However, repeatedly showing that in many media shots to the public world wide would bring attention to atmosphere and that’s not good from the secrecy point of view.
When you see some of the images below with the Mars atmosphere a little more prominent and accurately represented, stop and think a minute. When you’re looking at them, note that you will be thinking more about the obscuring atmosphere rather than just the geological terrain alone. That is the point. As a thing is minimized in visual perception, it is also minimized in psychological awareness. This is how subtle manipulation is done.
The trouble is that showing various global views of a more real looking Mars with its high sunlight reflective atmospheric haze would mean less perception of the planet’s geological surface as well as the dry as dust scenario and more perception of the planet having a very real atmosphere that actually includes significant water vapor. Remember that obscuring atmospheric sunlight reflective haze means concentrations of water vapor either in liquid or solid particulate ice form. Just remember that sunlight reflects off of that water presence as a white color defining general water vapor as a haze or in greater concentrations as clouds.
With that thought in mind, take a look at the next two images. I had to make the first one large enough so that you could adequately read the text credits at the bottom of it and that meant that I had to make the second one equally as large for more direct comparison purposes.
The above third image seems to be the original one taken by Hubble in 1995. I had to make it quite large here so that you can adequately read the smaller official text credits at the bottom left. I didn’t dare take an chance of altering the image in any way by cutting it up to make this one credit item more prominent.
You should know this image appears to no longer be available at the Hubble website and has been removed from there. However, many of the Hubble images were acquired by LIFE back at the time the original image was released by NASA in 1995 and so it is still available there at LIFE. The link to it at LIFE appears above. We are fortunate that LIFE acquired this complete with the credits that went along with it. That means that we can assume that the above image is identical to the original without modification except to install LIFE’s color logo in the lower right corner.
However, Hubble didn’t just loose the 1995 Mars image with it no longer being available at all. The fact is they appear to have replaced it with the above fourth image as its substitute. Note that the bottom text credits are identical in both images. Compare the above two large 1995 versions and you will quickly see that there is a subtle but fundamental change in background color to the orange/rusty/red color similar to my first report image here as a better color match to that 1997 image.
At least this substitute image still retains the atmospheric haze to a significant degree. On the other hand, compare the above 4th image with the upper left 1995 image in my above second image with the series from 1995 to 2005. Note that the atmospheric haze in the 1995 image there in the series, although still present, is significantly reduced. These subtle changes appear harmless enough on the surface and are easy to miss and/or dismiss but they subtly influence and bend perception away from truth.
The above fifth image is one that I cannot document. It was supposedly taken of Mars via a Earth telescope when Mars Opposition in 2005 was the closest it will be in many tens of thousands of years. I know nothing about the telescope or who took it. If someone can help document this, contact me via email and I will be happy to provide the necessary credits here.
The point is that this lesser quality image comes to us via an independent telescope source. This image was taken via telescope from Earth and through Earth’s atmosphere. Note the color of the planet and the atmospheric haze. Note how this tan earthy color differs from the typical orange/red color that we’ve become so familiar with from official sources. Note how similar in general color this image is with the Hubble original 1995 that is my third image above.
This is just for confirmation of the true Mars planetary color. That in turn reveals the presence of color manipulation when we start seeing Mars with strong orange and reddish color blends from official sources.
Basically the above sixth images are MGS MOC sourced wide-angle images. The swaths you see artificially outlined on the globes that are then spliced together form the mosaic that then forms the whole globe. These are suppose to be true color samples. Such global views are repeated many times in the MGS MOC historical data. Their collective purpose is to demonstrate changing Mars global weather patterns over a week period. However, I am showing only this first initial 1999 set as a sample both as to how the process is done and as a sample of the weather patterns themselves at the time this was taken in 1999.
What I also want to point out here is the general color of the above two globes that also agrees with the third and fifth images above but of course does not have the orange/red look. Note also the general atmospheric haze that partially obscures the terrain geology below it. All examples will contain this atmospheric general haze quality from less than you see it here to heavier and more obscuring. Note that water vapor concentrations as clouds are less prominent on the right globe and a bit heavier on the left one. Note that the MSSS narrative at the link above describes these clouds in the left globe as “…thick blue-white afternoon water ice clouds…”
Now remember that this global weather pattern evidence is dated roughly ten years ago in 1999. In my 2002 Report #040 I reported water vapor clouds over the Mars landscape with biological life in the terrain below it from the same MGS MOC data. At that time the cloud evidence was met with much disbelief because at that time the consideration of atmospheric water vapor presence was a big no no. There was much speculation that this must be a dust in the atmosphere. That was the dry as dust psychology of the time just those few years ago.
Now in more recent times we have the Phoenix mission officially telling us that it is okay to believe in Mars atmospheric water vapor and even other missions reporting detecting puffs of incredible methane suggesting that biological life of some kind may just exist after all. Remember, that methane evidence is on a global scale. Of course, if there is bio-life, it could only be in microbial form as we reluctantly let go of the past conditioning in only the tiniest incremental baby steps. If that isn’t enough, we now once again have my Report #160 taking advantage of this official turn about and driving home this atmospheric water vapor message along with again biological life that are considerably more than microbial.
Isn’t it amazing how things have changed in the last few years as the planetary exploration secrecy begins to crumble of its own weight and unreality and the secrecy has to cope with and acknowledge some realities. You can bet that some of that creepingly slow incremental change has occurred because of your repeat and sustained interest in this evidence record to the tune of 5.8+ million traffic hits in the month of March, 2009 alone. It’s simple, the more people come on board and stay on board interest wise, the stronger the impact in secrecy circles and the closer to their more fully turning around we get. It’s called people power and you can bet hidden leaders respect it.
Now the above seventh image on the left and the eighth image on the right are Mars global weather pattern evidence from the more current MRO MARCI official science data less than a year old. Even though this MRO MARCI data is newer than the 1999 MGS MOC data, it appears to be derived from essentially the same mosaic images methodology and is also processed by MSSS just as with the MGS MOC weather data.
Note that these two images taken just over a month apart in 2008 are generally of the same side of Mars. In these images the general water vapor haze is less but cloud concentrations are present. In the left shot the clouds appear to be heavier in the southern hemisphere just below the equator. In the right shot the clouds are a little more pronounced and universally spread over the northern and southern hemispheres. These are just two samples of many Mars global weather pattern images available in the MRO MARCI official science data. In each, MSSS officially refers to the clouds as water ice.
One point again demonstrated is that the manipulated strong orange/red color is not present in this evidence. That means that when you are seeing those official images of Mars terrain from some lander or rover with the orange/red tint terrain and sky, you need to be taking that manipulated view in with a grain of salt and a healthy dose of caution. Another point here is that you now see Mars as a planet with a real atmosphere and real water vapor in that atmosphere. Now you aren’t thinking of just the geological terrain on Mars are you? See what putting a little truth in front of one can do!
Look again at that globe on the right and the universal distribution throughout the northern and southern hemispheres of those white color water vapor cloud patterns admitted to being water ice clouds in the official science data, if you will follow the links to it. Now also remember that the Mars atmosphere is officially suppose to be 95.32% carbon dioxide (CO2) leaving all the rest of the atmospheric elements like nitrogen, oxygen, etc. to share just the tiny 4.68% left over. Remember too that CO2 concentrations of 5% or more are lethal to humans.
On Earth we humans breath an atmosphere that is 78.0842% nitrogen and 20.9463% oxygen as our atmosphere’s principle constituents. Note that this compares with just tiny trace amounts of 2.7% nitrogen and 0.13% oxygen on Mars according to official statistics data. Likewise, atmospheric water vapor is about 1.00% here on Earth compared to just the tiniest trace amount of 0.03% on Mars. At least that is what our consensus science tells us.
Go to my previous Report #160 and look again at the official Phoenix water vapor presence there now officially admitted to, especially in their own official video clips. Look back up again at that 8th image on the above right again with all those widely distributed water vapor clouds all across the entire Mars planet northern and southern hemispheres. They obviously aren’t the dense boiling clouds as often seen on Earth. However, clearly they aren’t insignificant either and especially considering that they are viewed from a great distance which tends to minimize all but the denser concentrations. Does that look like just a tiny trace 0.03% amount of water vapor to you?
Remember, water is H2O and that equates to one part hydrogen and two parts oxygen. Remember that water vapor is only suppose to be only a tiny trace of 0.03% and oxygen only 0.13% with the huge bulk of the atmosphere 95.32% lethal to Earth human’s carbon dioxide. In simple terms, more water vapor equates to more oxygen.
Remember all those visual water vapor and/or ice clouds are on a planetary scale and not just some limited region. Remember as well all the multiple rolling and traveling cloud evidence produced by the Phoenix mission stills and videos. Can you believe your own eyes? Use your own common sense! Don’t defer to so called “experts” who toe conditioned consensus official party lines not really their own. Lines that are already in the process of steadily crumbling away I might add.
At some point we’ve all got to step up and think for ourselves exercising some common sense rather than just blindly accept any old load of junk shoveled our way disguised as truth and designed to dull our questioning intelligence. We’ve got to realize that some of the most key science data is fundamentally flawed. That likewise means that extrapolations from it is going to be just as fundamentally flawed.
We like to think, in fact we too often need to think, that our world of science is different and to be respected. Yes it is in many good ways and no one is trying to say otherwise. However, the fact remains that it is also built on human behavior and thoroughly represents that human behavior diversity with all of our flaws as well as our stronger points. Widely accepted consensus, whether in the science and academic communities or elsewhere, is not always right. In fact it is often historically wrong about a great many things as history proves all too clearly.
Let’s face it, Mars clearly has a significant atmosphere and you can visually see that the water vapor presence in it is most definitely more than that tiny trace 0.03% and that in turn means oxygen presence is more than that tiny 0.13%. I don’t know how much more it is but you can bet that it isn’t the public, or the media, or the government, or even the science community who knows the truth even though some of them may think they do. Rather, someone behind the scenes does know the truth but they’re keeping it secret from the rest of us. That only likely to change if we continue to apply public pressure.
The Phoenix mission official surface water and atmospheric water vapor evidence presence is tiny in absolute terms but it is still significant. It demonstrates that someone in the secrecy is willing to take risk in trying to turn a corner toward some measure of truth. It is sending a new message into the science and academic communities that so blindly follow official dogma. This is no doubt because they feel that they have no choice but to do so considering the increasing knowledge that independent research is producing and spreading in populations. Their computer models no doubt tell them that this problem for them will only become more and more acute as the information and knowledge spreads.
The answer at this point isn’t yet in the science and academic communities hands, it is up to you and I out here in the public to initiate. The science and academic communities are too heavily conditioned and have been so for too long. There is just too much fundamental historical data that they are as yet unable to question. They take comfort in their consensus thinking that they know the truth and this direction you and I in the great unwashed masses are on just isn’t it. After all, it just can’t be! Why? Because, if this is the right direction, then they have been duped and easily. Egos with long strings of degrees after their names just do not permit that kind of self evaluation and judgment.
It is up to those of us with more open minds to realize the truth when we see it and step up to spread that truth to others in the populations that may be able to grasp it and in spite of the anticipated resistance. It starts with the obvious that we’ve all been had and that Mars does have an atmosphere different and more favorable to life than that officially promoted. That in turn has implications for temperatures more favorable to life than we’ve been led to believe. Once such fundamental basics are grasped, then its only a short next step to the realization of life itself on another world.
